Veluda Water Filters, as a leading force in the field of promoting products for both domestic and professional use for over 25 years, recognizes the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and integrates it into its core operational principles. With a deep sense of responsibility towards society and the environment, we develop and support initiatives that promote sustainability, social solidarity, and public awareness on critical issues, with a focus on water management, environmental protection, and supporting vulnerable groups.

Support for NGOs and Social Structures

Veluda Water Filters collaborates with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), such as A.T.A.C.H.T.O.I. (People of Solidarity Without Walls & Economic Selflessness), Right to Life, Iliachida, among others, supporting actions that enhance the quality of life and access to clean water. Through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer programs, we actively contribute to the realization of projects that have a direct and positive impact on local communities. At the same time, we participate in awareness campaigns to educate the public on the importance of proper water management and environmental protection. (WEBINARS)

Actions for Education and Vulnerable Groups

Recognizing the role of education as a fundamental pillar of development, Veluda Water Filters offers donations to schools, enhancing the equipment and infrastructure related to clean drinking water and environmental protection. Additionally, we support vulnerable social groups through initiatives that include the distribution of basic goods, providing water products to social structures, and organizing programs for social solidarity.

Environmental Responsibility and Sustainable Practices

Environmental protection is a priority for our company. We implement strict sustainability policies, avoiding the use of single-use plastics and promoting environmentally friendly solutions. At the same time, we organize and participate in reforestation and cleanup actions of natural areas, actively contributing to the preservation of natural balance. 

Health Initiatives 

With a strong sense of social responsibility, Veluda Water Filters supports pediatric hospitals through the sponsorship of modern water systems. Recognizing the importance of clean and safe water for children's health, we provide advanced filters and water supply systems, ensuring immediate and high-quality access to filtered water for young patients, their families, and medical staff. With this initiative, we contribute to improving the care and daily life of children, offering solutions that promote hygiene, safety, and well-being in the hospital environment. A life alliance for ensuring cleaner water for the children of the ELPIDA, as well as reducing the environmental footprint, was created between the ELPIDA and Veluda Water Filters. The Veluda Water Filters company, wanting to practically support the Association's work, proceeded with a five-year sponsorship that involves the installation of filters and water treatment systems, as well as coolers, at the ELPIDA, ensuring that the water is free from potential solids, chemicals, microbes, and salts that could strain the sensitive immune systems of children. With the installation of filters, the ELPIDA reduces its environmental footprint by eliminating the plastic bottles that were previously used. At the same time, we strengthen health initiatives, such as organizing voluntary blood donations, contributing to the enhancement of blood reserves and supporting those in need.

Lectures, Seminars, and Development Opportunities 

Promoting continuous education and awareness, we organize lectures and seminars related to sustainable water management, environmental responsibility, and social solidarity. We provide development opportunities for both our partners and the wider public, strengthening the dissemination of knowledge and best practices. Corporate Social Responsibility is not an option for us but an ethical obligation. With consistency and ongoing action, we are committed to continuing to serve society and the environment, creating a better future for all.

Blood Donation

Blood donation is an act of love and social sensitivity.

On Saturday 13 November our company supported the action organized by the Pancyprian Association of Cretans together with Polykarpou HRD and the association Life Rescue First Helpers.

We all took part in the voluntary blood donation at the church of Apostolos Andreas in Mesa Geitonia, Limassol in memory of Lefteris Xenophontos.

The blood donation was a great success, 47 units of blood and 9 samples were taken during this voluntary act!

Tree seedlinks adoption

A small contribution to our planet! We contribute to the project ''PLANT FOR THE CLIMATE'' by adopting 30 tree seedlings that will be planted on our island. After the recent fires in our forests, the ecosystem of our country has been irreparably damaged and we must help it in every way! Our next step is to help with the tree planting that will take place after the end of the summer!

Beach Clean-Up in Limassol

An initiative by the Veluda team to clean up a beach of our beautiful island from plastic and other waste that pollute the beach, the sea and aquatic organisms. With the support of Let's Do It Cyprus and the valuable help of Save Your Hood Cyprus, we managed to collect over 200 bags of litter in 2 hours. This action was done in the context of World Earth Day to remind us how important it is to take care of our planet and try to pollute it as little as possible.
